It is not at all unusual in Peachtree City, GA to see moms golf carting their kids to school, or parents golf carting to an outdoor concert in the Fred Brown Amphitheater. The city public school district is ranked among the highest in Georgia and the city boasts its own airport and colleges and universities just a short drive from the city limits.
Only 15 miles outside of Atlanta, Peachtree City is included within the Atlanta metro area and the city of only 36,000 residents within its 24 square miles offers a laid back, small town feel as an alternative to the state’s capital. Peachtree City is known for its elaborate 90-mile network of paved golf cart paths that also serve as jogging trails and bicycle paths that connect every area of the city. Peachtree City also offers four swimming pools, a soccer complex, a Senior Center, a teen center, an ALTA-approved tennis center, a 2,000-seat amphitheater, a BMX track, and the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center equipped with several indoor pools.
